DOC Shadows is back!
DOC BC presents another round of its exclusive mentorship initiative for DOC Members.
This is a great program pairing novice filmmakers with documentary mentors, for one day. The goal is to have the mentor, share their time and expertise in the day-to-day creative and business aspects of documentary filmmaking. Ideally, the novice filmmaker will shadow for one day, either during prep, production or post.
One-On-One meetings can be arranged as an alternative and for both the novice and evolving filmmaker, who wants to access the expertise of a mentor that may not currently be in production. It's also a great opportunity for any filmmaker who wishes to be introduced to an experienced story editor, production manager, insurance broker, entertainment lawyer, etc. DOC will arrange for a meeting for the filmmaker and the expert.
